The European Union Intellectual Property Office grants iCoat Medical funding for IP assessment

The European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) has granted iCoat Medical a financial grant from its SME-fund. The purpose of the grant is to support advanced SME-companies in their ongoing work to secure optimal IP rights. The grant will subsidize the cost of an external review of iCoat Medical’s current patents and IP strategy in order to optimize the company’s future development of its growing IP portfolio.

“We are very pleased with EUIPO’s support of iCoat Medical’s work and thanks to this grant, we will be able to not only further strengthen our current patents but also future-proof our IP strategy for iCoat Medical’s overall pipeline of indications linked to TUM012 and TUM020” says iCoat Medical’s CEO Peder Waern.

About EUIPO: EUIPO is the European Union Intellectual Property Office responsible for managing the EU trademark and the registered Community design.
